Why can’t things just work right?

So, when I wrote last things were on the up and up….until I got home….I got a collection notice from COMCAST – the phone and internet company saying that I owed $480for phone equipment from my apartment I lived in three months ago….and they were sending me to collections because I had refused to pay it….I never got a freakin’ bill! Imagine my surprise…..we turned in all of our cable equipment – no one told me there was phone equipment that needed to be turned it and who has ever heard of such a thing! I said, “lady, I lived in a 300 unit apartment building with a telephone room that only your company has access to – how they hell am I supposed to get in there and get whatever the hell this is out! So they are sending someone over there today to try and “retrieve” the equipment – good luck!

Then, so my dad couldn’t finish the kitchen because some of the cabinets were broken. When he went home to yell at the cabinet company there was a lock on the door…the damn place went out of business! So now we have to try and go through the manufacturer to get the rest of my cabinets. Does it ever get better?

We have a bathroom! We have a bathroom!

I am so excited. Check out the before and after pictures! We have a bathroom! All that is left is we need to get a towel bar, toilet paper holder, and put the heat vent back up. I am so happy. We also have made great advances on the kitchen. Some of the cabinets were wrong so we need my dad to send us the new ones. I actually feel well rested for once in my life…I am not all that sleepy. Things are starting to come together…things are going good…..

 

OMG!

I just want to hurt someone….god forbid the person who ever gets into a bar fight with me! It’s like why can thing’s just work out right? Bathroom and Kitchen are coming along…but everyone is calling me hitler because they said I never let up and I just bitch and bitch…well guess what? I want my freaking shit done..excuse me for wanting a freaking kitchen…with appliances and a countertop….

Everyone keeps telling me about this movie The Money Pit – I really need to see it…we have dropped almost $1500 between tile for the kitchen, drywall and crap to put the walls back together…trim for around the floor..I am going to start a gd home depot…that’s where the money is….pictures next time of the progress hopefully…

Is it over yet?

I am done being sick? No! It would help if my work has sick days and I could take a few…but those are non-existent. So, now I have infected everyone in my office…oh well. Don’t blame me. I feel like such shit! I have to fly to Illinois tomorrow for my final wedding of the summer – that I am in that is…I hope I make it through the weekend.

My event was okay. not as many people as I would have hoped for.  But the client was happy and that is all that matters.

I am glad to be going on “vacation” thur. and fri though…if that’s what you call it. I wouldn’t say i have had a “vacation” in a long time…I think a “vacation” involves the beach and sun..neither of which I have seen in a long time…

Well not exactly – I have to work all weekend. I have my music festival which should be a raging success. We should have good weather and all will be fine. I am sick. My throat hurts and my ears hurt and snot keeps running from my nose into my throat. Today was the first full friday – since 1/2 day friday’s ended. Needless to say, I miss 1/2 day fridays. This was the longest freakin day of my life.

It hurts to physically touch my throat – should I be concerned? I was planning to go home and go to be after work – but now I have to clean my car since I now have to transport one of the musicians. My poor car is so trashed…this poor musician if I don’t get it cleaned. What am I going to tell the guy – “Oh sorry, excuse the three bags of sheet rock in the back seat – it’s for my unfinished kitchen!”

Sorry..it’s been a long time

So sorry…it’s been a long time..dawn if you are reading this…here you go. I have been so busy I can’t even remember what I was doing 5 minutes ago. I have a HUGE music festival this weekend. That I have been planning since January. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for great weather because we don’t have a rain plan. Oh this house! Still no bathroom or kitchen..I am hoping Austin can get the bathroom finished this weekend – kitchen is going to be another two weeks when my dad comes.

i am getting sick..I have a really sore throat and I am so seeeeeeepppppy. It is so freaking hot in my office I am sitting at my desk sweating…all these skinny people need to get a sweater!

We moved..well almost

We have virtually everything over at the new house…all that is left is the bathroom stuff and the cleaning supplies…now where to begin on the unpacking? I just want to cry…do you know how many muscles you have in your chest…I pulled every single one of mine moving shit…I never want to move again – oh and guess what our entertainment center won’t fit in the freaking room it’s supposed to go in – so it’s on craigslist currently..but i can’t move in the living room until it’s gone because it is sitting in the middle of the room…and what the freak are we going to do with all of our clothes. We need an armoire or something..I’m having a panic attack..i can’t breathe…I just want to go to sleep for a very long time..and when I wake up everything will be done…YEAH RIGHT!
