It’s been more than a week..not acceptable

There is so much to discuss..not sure where to even begin..first of all..on Friday, I broke my big toe while running to meet Brianne at Fanueil Hall. It was pouring down rain and I was trying not to get wet. My high heel got caught in between two bricks and there you have it. We then went to a radio party and got to see Augustana like two feet from us…check out the pic below. It’s the lead singer.

July 27 – Chicago BABY!!! Running of the Brides! I can’t go to the one in Boston..so Chicago is the next best thing. Dawn, Decker and I are going to beat the biatches down…

The next couple weekends are so busy..my head is spinning..mem day should be relatively quiet. I’m helping one of Austin’s friends, Matty make a special anniversary gift for his gf..how cute!! Then next weekend we are going to the cheese cave with the gphis, the next weekend (June 8th) we are in Newport for a wedding, the weekend after that I have my ART event, the weekend after that I have a bridal shower to go to..ohh I better get the gift now! and then it’s quiet for a little while again! Geesh!!

I need to win the lottery

I am so broke! Why can’t I just be as rich as paris hilton? I mean seriously. Do you have any idea how much a wedding cost? These things should be outlawed. It doesn’t help that my mother is a psycho..but hey what are you gonna do?

I’ve been dying to see the Soprano’s episode from this past Sunday.  I know Christopher dies but that I heard on the radio. It wasn’t on the ondemand last night. I hope it’s on tonight. I want to live like the Soprano’s. I think it might relieve some of my tension to mame someone..god that is sick! But I just wish I had the power of Tony Soprano. Marissa Soprano…maybe I’ll change my name..ha!

It has been WAY to long…

Where has the time gone. I really need to get to this more. If it wasn’t for lactivists and crazys I may be able to write once in a while. Went to Illinois this past weeked to plan wedding stuff…what a nightmare. my mother is out to ruin this. I know it! So we booked the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park for the ceremony and the gateway center in Collinsville for the reception – all on May 17th. I need to get back on track for planning the wedding here. I have so much to do..I know it’s a year – but it is going to fly by! We got a lot of nice gifts at our engagement party – we also had that in Illinois on Sat. – I was surprised seeing as how my mother told everyone not to bring a gift! Got home late last night..and have been running around ever since…that’s all I got for now.

We have a date and a place!

Well after one hell of a week…a small breastfeeding issue with one of my clients (a retailer) and having strep throat while my poor friends were visiting..things this week are looking a little better…(NOTE: It’s Thursday!). Decker and Dawn were here this past weekend and we got  a lot of wedding related things completed. On Sunday, I called the place where we would like to book and booked June 7, 2008..or so I thought…the woman calls back and was very apologetic yet informed me that date was already taken. I WANTED this date! But only because Dawn pointed out that it is 06-07-08..ah well…So, I had to reconfigure everything and here is what we came up with May 17, 2008 in Illinois and May 24, 2008 in Boston. Yes, that is Memorial Day weekend. But, I really don’t have much of an option. That is like the only date the place here has available in the time frame I want. If I get the save the dates out like in August – that should give people plenty of notice and if they don’t come..then they don’t come.

I was at work until 7:15PM last night…I won’t even get into that side of my life right now..
