Why does everything have to be so freaking confusing

My life is just so complicated. Anyway…

We spent like 4 hours yesterday registering at Bed, Bath and Beyond and only got like 60 things on our list. The saleswoman said we need at least 150. So we have a ways to go. I think a majority of the rest of the items on the list there will be done online. We still have to go to Target, Crate and Barrel and Macy’s. Gee how fun! In the process..these registy places are all connected with the wedding websites (theknot.com and theweddingchannel.com) so needless to say everything has been all screwed up. So, I deleted the two wedding webpages I made..but they won’t go away!! I fucking hate technology. So, now I am going to buy two different domain names and create my own two pages from scratch. Why can’t I just have one wedding and one stupid webpage!

Then, I read the newspaper on Thursday and oh! my wedding place failed to get an occupancy permit when they opened in July and are being forced to cancel weddings until they get the permit and there is a “buearacratic tie-up” what ever the hell that mean. I figure they have 8 months until mine. Hopefully, they get it worked out by then.

Work should be relatively calm this week — the  bosses are out on vaca.

Austin and I can’t agree on a stupid china pattern. We are registering for two sets…the fancy shamcy stuff and then everday china. We haven’t even started looking at the fancy shamcy stuff because we can’t get past what we are having for the everyday china. I want something that is microwavable and he says that doesn’t matter. I want WHITE but with a funky shape and he doesn’t want that. It’s like never ending….

I started back at Weight watchers today and shocked the hell out of myself. I was dead sure that I had gained all my weight back (10lbs.) and I only gained 1 lb!!! I was like “are you sure?” So, now I am back on track. I need to get back to the gym because I am a much happier person when I am going there and relieving my stresses.

Onward…

What a freaking weekend!

So, Friday was interesting got off work  – went to sprint to get new phones and on the way there Austin’s precious mercedes started freaking out. The radio was changing the channels, changing the sound, and the lights were going on and off — like the car was possessed! We went into sprint got our new treo’s, came out and suprise surprise the car wouldn’t start. We called Larry (Austin’s dad) for a jump because Austin thought it was the battery. Charge it up some and then the car starts to overheat. Charge it up some more and decide to take our chances at driving it home – get it on the road and oh..it won’t shift into gear. Pull over again and wait 3hours for AAA. Great! Get home – going to sleep and the power goes out..Saturday was pretty uneventful. Sunday we get up at 4am to go tuna fishing. We didn’t catch any tuna but we did see lots of Whales and tuna..they were jumping out of the water to get the bait – they apparently didn’t like our fake bait. ha! Head back into shore from 25 miles out and the boat engine catches on fire!!!! Holy shit we almost had to jump overboard and swim back and all I could think about was my precious coach bag and how I was going to have to jump in the ocean with it –hell no! They got the fire out with the trusty fire extinguisher — always have one of those– and some nice man towed us back to shore…geesh…at least I’m alive and my coach bag is okay!! Ha!

Engagement party

First of all — I want to give a shout out to Dawn and Decker for making my engagement party HAPPEN! If it was up to a certain person – who will remain nameless – we wouldn’t of had one..or it would have been a shitty one. We had so much fun this weekend. Brianne, Dawn, Decker and I found the bridesmaid dress! Very exciting!! from Aria Bridesmaid. Black tea-length with fushcia belt..very cute!! Then we had our little FIESTA!! It was a great time! All my friends were there – it wasn’t an O.C. or The Hills typical Swampscott party which I was very excited about.

My dad was up and we got a lot around the kitchen – my cabinets are finished! We got a new washer and dryer and the trim around the countertop has been completed!

I’ll have to post pics from the party later..I don’t have them on my work computer.

Where does the time go?

So update on the ticket situation..I got tickets to Hilary Duff. Not Beyonce, but it will work.

Went to chicago for the running of the brides and it was everything I thought it would be. Didn’t find a dress there but did find a dress later in the day at david’s bridal. Had lots of fun with Dawn and Decker. My mother is another story. See below — the pic of us in the yellow construction worker vests is right before we ran into Filene’s Basement. Busy..Busy week at work coming up and then Dawn and Decker are coming to visit me!!!! Along with my dad and denise.
